Kashmir Itinerary for 8 Nights 9 Days

Day 1 : Srinagar Arrival And Local Sightseeing

You will start your Kashmir trip when you arrive at the Srinagar International Airport. Our

driver will be ready to pick you up with your name placard. He will assist you with loading

the baggage into the car. Now, after leaving the airport, you can either check in at your hotel

or go for local sightseeing. Local sightseeing will include Mughal gardens like Nishat

Garden, Shalimar Garden, Botanical Garden, Chasm-e-Shahe, and Pari Mahal. After this,

you can also do the famous Shikara ride in the Dal lake. In Dal Lake, you can buy saffron,

fruit chat, and Kashmiri Kehwa or Nun Chai (salt-tea). At the end of the day, our driver will

drop you off at your hotel for the night.

Day 2 : Srinagar to Gulmarg Stay

We will drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg on the second day of your Kashmir tour itinerary. It’s

52 km from Srinagar and will take us about 2 hours to get there. Gulmarg is famous for its

thrilling activities and natural beauty. After reaching Gulmarg, we can do the local

sightseeing. If your Kashmir tour package includes a Gondola ride, then we will go for that

first. Gulmarg’s Gondola is a two-stage cable car and is the second longest and highest

cable car in the world. There are plenty of snow related activities available to you if you visit

during the winter, including skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. In the summer, you can

do ATV rides and pony rides. On this day we are going to have stay at Gulmarg.

Day 3 : Gulmarg to Pahalgam Stay

On the Thired day of your Kashmir tour itinerary, we will take a road trip from Gulmarg to

Pahalgam. It will take us approximately 3 hours to reach and is 130 kilometres from

Gulmarg. Pahalgam is a beautiful hill station, and here you can see the Lidder River flowing

through amazing meadows. If you’re looking for activities, you can do hiking, go on a pony

ride to beautiful places like Mini-Switzerland, Baisaran, Pahalgam Valley, and Waterfall, or

you can also try water rafting on the river. You can also go for a walk with your partner at

sunset. On this day we are going to have stay at Pahalgam.

Day 4 : Pahalgam Stay

On the fourth day of your Kashmir tour itinerary, you are going to wake up with an amazing

view of the Lidder River and green meadows of Pahalgam. Now its your second day at

Pahalgam, and we will now go to Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari. For that first

we need to take a Union Taxi in Pahalgam. Don’t worry our Driver-Cum-Guide will help you

in that. So after leaving for these places, you will be totally in love with Pahalgam. You can

recreate scenes from the famous Bollywood movie Betaab, and when you guys return, we

are going to stay for a second night in Pahalgam.

Day 5 : Pahalgam to Sonmarg Stay

On the fifth day of your Kashmir tour itinerary, you will wake up at your Pahalgam hotel,

have your breakfast, and then we will start our road trip from Pahalgam to Sonmarg. This

will be a long journey for around 140 km. This will take us around 2.5 hours to reach. You

can have lunch at Wayil Bridge; you can also peacefully spend some time in the Wayil

Bridge park. After that, we will reach Sonmarg in the evening, where you will check in at

your hotel, and then you can do bonfire.

Day 6 : Sonmarg stay

On the sixth day, you are going to wake up at the Sonmarg Hotel, and then we are going to

go for a trek to Thajiwas Galcier, either by pony ride, which is around 3 km away from the

Sonmarg meadows. At Thajiwas, you can find snow all the time throughout the year. You

can do snow activities like sledging and snowfights. You can also slide down the hill, which

is an exciting thing to do. Take a picture and come down and enjoy your stay at Sonmarg.

Day 7 : Sonmarg to Srinagar

On the Seventh day, You are going to wake up at Sonmarg Hotel and on this day we are

going to explore places like Baltal, Zero Point and Zojila Pass. You can have full day of

adventure and then come back to Srinagar. On this day we are going to Stay in our Hotel in

Srinagar.

Day 8: Doodhpathri Day Tour

We will drive from Srinagar to Doodhpathri on the eighth day of your Kashmir tour

itinerary.Doodhpathri is a hill station in Kashmir that is popular with tourists due to the

presence of the Greater Himalayan Mountain Range in India. Doodhpathri, also known as

the “Valley of Milk,” is a popular tourist destination in Jammu and Kashmir. You will enjoy

the day there and come back to Srinagar Hotel at night.

Day 9 : Departure

Enjoy breakfast at your Srinagar hotel on the ninth day of your Kashmir tour itinerary,

depending on when you have to depart or catch your flight. Take a final look at Dal Lake or

the Mughal Gardens. If you have more time before your flight, you might want to do some

last-minute shopping at a nearby market. Pashmina Shawls, Kashmiri carpets, and

handicrafts created by regional artists are available for purchase. In order for our driver to

drop you off at the Srinagar Airport, it is advised that you arrive at the airport two hours prior

to the flight.
